Aftercare meeting at Philip Morris BH doo Sarajevo

The Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA) continues to implement activities related to providing the post-investment support to foreign investors in BiH. 

Accordingly, a visit to Philip Morris BH doo Sarajevo was held on 18 May 2018 together with the representatives of Sarajevo Canton and the Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo.

Company Philip Morris BH Ltd. Sarajevo is a part of the leading international tobacco company Philip Morris International (PMI), which has 15 world brands of cigarettes in its portfolio, including Marlboro, the world's best-selling brand. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the company has been operating 12 years and employs about 100 workers (directly and indirectly).

The Company Cooperative Business Manager Nedim Muratović emphasized that the company is actively helping the development of local communities through the implementation of a series of "Start-up" Projects focusing on job creation, entrepreneurship, education and science, with the aim to strengthen young people and to motivate them to stay in their communities and actively participate in their development.

The meeting also discussed future plans of the company, the current business environment and the way of improving the current situation in the BiH tobacco industry.
