2nd Brčko Diaspora Forum – “Brčko in the Heart”.

Representatives of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA) participated on 26 and 27 August 2025 at the second Brčko Diaspora Forum – “Brčko in the Heart”. This two-day event brought together numerous representatives of the diaspora, competent institutions, and businesspeople from Brčko and Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

FIPA Secretary PhD Maida Bećirović, as a participant at a panel discussing the importance of the diaspora for development, highlighted all the comparative advantages of investing in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She also spoke about channels and specific ways for promoting the investment potentials of Bosnia and Herzegovina to representatives of the diaspora, as well as the obstacles that those who want to invest in Bosnia and Herzegovina may encounter.

The Forum was another opportunity to familiarize the diaspora with the possibilities and specific projects for investing, but also for discussing administrative obstacles and ways to remove them in order to make the investment process easier.

FIPA, in its promotional activities, particularly emphasizes the importance of the diaspora and in this regard cooperates with a significant number of government and non-governmental sectors, as well as business people.
