Representatives of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA), Gordana Radović and Tanja Bojović-Simić, participated in the “Sarajevo Business Dialogue: Bosnia and Herzegovina–Malaysia” conference held in Sarajevo.

As part of the conference, a presentation entitled “Business Environment and Investment Opportunities in Bosnia and Herzegovina” was delivered, highlighting the key features of the country’s business and investment environment, as well as investment opportunities across various sectors. The presentation also outlined FIPA’s role in supporting potential foreign investors, from providing relevant information and facilitating connections with institutions and business partners to supporting the implementation of investment projects.

On the first day of the event, FIPA representatives participated in panel discussions and business sessions focused on strengthening trade and investment cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Malaysia. Particular attention was given to opportunities for cooperation in the food and IT industries, tourism and hospitality, real estate, medical equipment manufacturing and healthcare services, as well as education and knowledge exchange.

On the second day of the business programme, FIPA representatives took part in B2B meetings with Malaysian companies and members of the business community, providing an opportunity for direct engagement with potential business partners and investors. During the meetings, participants exchanged information on potential projects, investment opportunities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and prospects for future business cooperation.

Particularly valuable were the contacts established with representatives of the Malaysian Business and Cultural Council (MBCC), Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia (UPTM), IDEALCARE, and other relevant organisations and companies. These contacts provide a foundation for continued communication and information exchange, as well as for the development of concrete business and investment initiatives.

FIPA’s participation in this event once again demonstrates the Agency’s commitment to actively promoting Bosnia and Herzegovina as an attractive investment destination. Through direct engagement with the international business community, FIPA contributes to creating opportunities for new investments and business partnerships, facilitating knowledge and technology transfer, and strengthening connections between companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Malaysia.
