The success story we are going to talk about begins in 2006, when the Italian company International Opportunity s.r.l. (I.OP.) from Belluno, embarked on a financial and commercial cooperation with the Srebrenik-based firm Textile International Company d.o.o. (T.I.C.). Only a few years later, this mutually frutiful partnership will persuade I.OP.'s management to acquire control of the bosnian partner.

Today T.I.C. is a clothing industry specialized in textile-apparel production supplying among the most important Italian fashion companies such as Cavalli, Dolce&Gabbana, Ferrè, Krizia, Le Copains, Moschino, Roccobarocco, Versace and Fix Design, just to mention a few.

The company is more than just a job processer (sawing jobs, tailoring, montage and fine work) as it often participates in the choice of materials, accessories and in the realisation of prototypes for its clients. T.I.C.'s role is therefore that of a partner and a consultant, capable of ensuring the required quality and manufacturing standards.

T.I.C. industrial complex occupies a surface of 3.000 square meters, while the production is performed within three different building plants. The company produces up to 900.000 pieces per year thanks to a specialised workforce of 250 people.

Despite the international crisis, T.I.C. has managed to preserve the levels of production and employment. Morevoer, with the entry of new important customers in the company's portfolio, the management is now planning to increase the production to up to 1.200.000 pieces in the next two years. In order to do this, new investments on facilities, machinery (mainly sewing machines) and training of skilled workers (up to 150) are envisaged.

The textile industry in Bosnia and Herzegovina has a relatively long tradition and a huge potential due to low production costs, skilled workers, long experienceand a strategic closeness to European markets.

Italian creativity has found its perfect partner: the human and professional capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina!
