Free trade agreements

Bosnia and Herzegovina has signed the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA) with the following countries:

Albanian

SERBIA

Moldova

Montenegro

Macedonia

UNMIK/Kosovo

Bosnia and Herzegovina also has a free trade agreement with Turkey, which provides access to a new market of 70 million people.

The Stabilisation and Association Agreement:
The Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) between the European Union (EU) and Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) entered into force on 01.06. 2015. The Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) between the European Union (EU) and Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) entered into force on 1 June 2015, establishing a strong and close partnership between the EU and BiH and deepening mutual political, economic and trade ties. The SAA is now our main framework for relations with the EU.

SSP will also contribute to the progressive alignment of BH legislation with EU legislation.

EFTA: The Free Trade Agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the EFTA countries (Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein) was signed on 24 June 2013. The Free Trade Agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the EFTA countries (Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein) was signed on 24 June 2013 in Norway, and came into force in January 2015.
