THE GERMAN ENERGY GIANT RWE IS INTERESTED IN INVESTING IN BIH

The leaders of the German energy giant RWE, reiterated their interest in investing in construction of facilities for the electricity production in BiH, at a meeting with representatives of the FBiH authorities and the BiH companies in Koln. 

The leaders of the German energy giant RWE, reiterated their interest in investing in construction of facilities for the electricity production in BiH, at a meeting with representatives of the FBiH authorities and the BiH companies in Koln.

The Company RWE is interested in constructing eight small hydro power plants of 20 MW in total on the Krivaja River. The value of this project is estimated at 50 million EUR.

This project and others business issues were discussed in Koln where the leaders of the German Company hosted 15 members of the FBiH delegation, led by the Prime Minister, Mustafa Mujezinovic. The delegation was comprised of representatives of institutions responsible for the energy issues as: the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry; Elektroprivreda BiH and Elektroprivreda HZHB, the Coal Mine Banovici, the Municipality of Banovici and media representatives.
