PRESENTATION OF THE INVESTMENTS GENERATION IN BIH WORLD BANK PROJECT

The project of the World Bank of “Investments Generation in BiH” was presented to the BiH Minister of Finance and Treasury BiH, Dragan Vrankić, by the team of experts of the FIAS Programme (Advisory service for investment setting), Ivan Anton Rimac, Director of the Investment Generation Vienna Programme, and Benjamin Herzberg, Project Manager of the Investments Generation in BiH Programme, on 17th March in Sarajevo. 

The project of the World Bank of “Investments Generation in BiH” was presented to the BiH Minister of Finance and Treasury BiH, Dragan Vrankić, by the team of experts of the FIAS Programme (Advisory service for investment setting), Ivan Anton Rimac, Director of the Investment Generation Vienna Programme, and Benjamin Herzberg, Project Manager of the Investments Generation in BiH Programme, on 17th March in Sarajevo.

The basic objective of this project is to improve the business setting and environment in the country, in cooperation with the BiH institutions, to remove obstacles aiming at getting investments increased, to generate higher income and to open the new jobs.

A coherent and consistent framework for foreign investors, emphasizing a unique economic environment in BiH, should be ensured by the project through three components: by reforms activities, by building up capacities and through the trans-border investments.
