The FIPA Country Representative in Japan, Shigehiko Nishihama, participated and had a long presentation at the Seminar for Group Tourism to Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina which was held on 18 March in Tokyo, Japan.
He had a presentation about the BiH tourism for group tourists, satisfactory routes to visit the BiH tourist sites and useful of B&H Airlines which cooperated with Turkish Airlines, in front of about 30 experts and representatives from tourist agencies and airlines in Japan.
The 45 minutes presentation and 50 pages written materials by the FIPA Country Representative in Japan were favourable and impressed to the audiences.
This seminar was organized by JATA, the Japan Association of Travel Agents.
By activities of FIPA Country Representative in Japan with support of FIPA H.Q. in Sarajevo, Japanese tourist agency started to send group tourists to BiH especially to Mostar and Sarajevo, regularly since 2004.
Now every year, around 2500 Japanese tourists visit BiH.
Regarding the sector of tourism, the FIPA Country Representative in Japan has very good results and contribution for the BiH economy.
