HIGHWAY MEĐUGORJE - BIJAČA IS OPENED



Highway from loops Međugorje to the International border crossing Bijača was opened yesterday, and will merge BiH with the European Motorway Network.

The project's value was € 70 million and was financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

About 1,000 workers worked on the project, and the advantage was given to the local companies that did most of the work.

According to the public company Autoceste FBiH, 10 kilometres long section of Corridor Vc are connected to the European Motorway Network, and will have a great impact on our country's economy, industry and tourism.

At the end of the month, there will be a tender for contractors for construction of section between Međugorje and Počitelj.
