THE CORNERSTONE FOR CONSTRUCTION OF FIRST BOSNIAN WIND PLANT WAS LAID

The Representatives of the Electric Power Company Elektroprivreda of Herceg-Bosna laid the cornerstone for the construction of the first Bosnian wind plant on 29th September 2010 at the site Mrkodol in the Municipality of Tomislavgrad.

KFW ENTWICKLUNGSBANK finances this pioneer project on behalf of the German Government and within the framework of the bilateral German-Bosnian and Herzegovinian Financial Cooperation with the amount of 71 million EUR, while 1 million EUR will represent grant funds in order to support the construction of the first wind farm in our country.

22 turbines with the production capacity of 2 MW should produce 128 GWh per year.
