THE BUSINESS MEETING VIENNA ECONOMIC TALKS - MEET BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA IN VIENNA WAS HELD IN AUSTRIAN'S CAPITAL



The two days business meeting “Meet BiH in Vienna” was held in Vienna on 11-12 March 2010 under the patronage of the Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers and within Vienna Economic Forum which represents continuation of the successful cooperation between the BiH Council of Ministers and Vienna Economic Forum.

The business meeting was organised in order to improve economic cooperation between BiH and Austria particularly emphasizing possibilities for investing of Austrian companies in BiH and to present the economic reforms made in BiH to Austrian investors.

This event also allowed directs contacts between investors and the BiH companies that are having concrete projects for investing.

Dr. Nikola Spiri, Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers, said on this occasion that BiH offered large opportunities to potential foreign investor in different sectors such as infrastructure, communications, energy, agriculture and trade.

He invited investors to invest in the BiH resources, emphasizing that the institutions in BiH keep improving the relevant legal framework in order to remove administrative barriers to foreign investors.

The BiH relevant ministries representatives presented on this occasion concrete projects in the infrastructure, energy, tourism and agriculture domains.

The business meeting gathered a large number of BiH and Austrian representatives and business people from the both countries.

The FIPA representatives, led by the Acting Director, Blaenka MIškovi, participated also at the meeting.
