RS has invited investors to show interest in becoming its strategic partner in the construction of four hydropower plants on the Drina River. 

RS has invited investors to show interest in becoming its strategic partner in the construction of four hydropower plants on the Drina River.

The future power plants - Buk Bjela, Foca, Paunci and Sutjeska - will use the hydro potential of the upper flow of the Drina River. Their combined electricity production is planned to reach 800 gig watt hours per year.

Serbia and RS plan to invest jointly 435 million EUR in the construction of four hydro plants.

The investors are being invited to express their interest in the Gornja Drina hydroelectric project until 22nd September.
