THE REPRESENTATIVES OF THE FEDERATION OF BiH MET WITH A CHINESE DELEGATION OF GUODIAN CORPORATION

The delegation of the Guodian Corporation Electric, one of the ten largest companies in China, led by the vice-President of the corporation, Qiao Baoping, are in a several day visit to BiH in order to be informed on the potentials of the BiH energy sector, and consider the possibilities of cooperation on the joint exploitation of energy.

They had a meeting with the Prime Minister of Federation of BiH and the Federal Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry.

The two parties exchanged opinion on mutual opportunities for establishing special relations regarding specific projects. The guests from China expressed their interest in cooperation in the field of the wind and the solar energy, the exchange of equipment for electric power facilities, as well as modern technologies based on savings and increasing the efficiency of capacity.

For the reconstruction of existing and building new power facilities in the Federation, the Government of Federation of BiH needs investors and investments, and in this framework there is a possibility for expanding cooperation with the relevant Chinese companies in terms of exchange of goods and technology,

Stressing the interest of the BiH electric companies to use the experience of Chinese corporations in this field, the Competent Minister announced the contacts and cooperation in this field will continue.
