THE BIH OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE SWISS ALPIQ COMPANY

During an informative visit of the representatives of the BH media to the headquarters of the Alpiq Swiss Company, Hans-Guter Mayer, Deputy Head of Department for business operations of the Company in Central and South Eastern Europe said that Bosnia and Herzegovina is a country with extraordinary production potential and from that aspect very interesting for Alpiq, as a Company. 

During an informative visit of the representatives of the BH media to the headquarters of the Alpiq Swiss Company, Hans-Guter Mayer, Deputy Head of Department for business operations of the Company in Central and South Eastern Europe said that Bosnia and Herzegovina is a country with extraordinary production potential and from that aspect very interesting for Alpiq, as a Company.

During the presentation at the Alpiq headquarters, Mr Hans-Guter Mayer emphasized that Alpiq was interested in participation in some other projects in BiH.

Actually, after having participated at a restructured tender of the public company "Elektroprivreda BiH", for the Bloc 7 in the thermal electrical power plant Tuzla, the company Alpiq was selected a qualified bidder in the process of strategic partnership.

As it was emphasized on the occasion, Alpiq sees the project in Tuzla - Bloc 7, as an extremely important one for the whole of BiH, i.e., for JP "Elektroprivreda BiH", as well as for Alpiq’s future engagements in the region.
