MEETING WITH CHINESE AND KUWAITI INVESTORS

The BiH Presidency Chairman, Haris Silajdzic, received the President of the Middle East Contracting & Management-MCM International Company, Abdul Rahman Al-Ajmi, and the Representative of the biggest Chinese national corporation for engineering and construction- EICEC, Li Man Ying. 

The BiH Presidency Chairman, Haris Silajdzic, received the President of the Middle East Contracting & Management-MCM International Company, Abdul Rahman Al-Ajmi, and the Representative of the biggest Chinese national corporation for engineering and construction- EICEC, Li Man Ying.

The meeting was focused on possibilities for investing in BiH and on cooperation regarding the construction of electric power facilities.

Apart from the BiH energy sector, the investors expressed their interest in investing in other domains as for example in the road and railway infrastructure and in the constructing industry.

Mr. Silajdzic said that BiH had large and untapped resources, emphasizing that the energy sector itself offers potential investments worth 10 billion EUR. He pointed out that BiH had also the potential in the chemical, wood, metal and military industries, and good conditions for developing the agriculture and the livestock breeding.
