FIPA MEETING WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF THE EMBASSY OF ITALY IN BIH



On 2^nd August 2010, the FIPA Directress, Jelica Grujic, with her associates had a meeting with Massimo Di Giandomenico, the Director of the State Institute for Foreign Trade, the Department of the Italian Embassy for Economic Relations Promotion in BiH, Luca Di Gianfrancesco, the First Secretary, and Muris Goralija, the Trade Analyst of the Institute.

The meeting was focused among other on possibilities for improving the economic cooperation between BiH and Italy and on the future presentation of BiH which is to be held soon in Italy.

Speaking on the BiH investment opportunities, the guests expressed their interest in the agriculture and the energy projects.

The guests also mentioned a successful signing of the agreement between the Municipality of Kozarska Dubica and the Consulting Company of IBC (International Bridge Consulting) owned by the Italian Company of "Franzoni Filati".

This Agreement relates to the construction of the business zone of Lipova Greda in Kozarska Dubica that will be offered in the future to potential foreign investors.

The aim is to create conditions in this area for starting new businesses and for creation new work places.

It should be mentioned that a representative of the State Institute for Foreign Trade of Italy will come in BiH for a period of 18 months where he will work on improving cooperation between the two countries, including establishing contacts between the businesspeople and companies.
