BIH AND ESTONIA INITIALLED AGREEMENT ON AVOIDING DOUBLE TAXATION

The harmonized agreement on avoiding double taxation and prevention of fiscal fraud regarding income tax between BiH and Estonia was initialled on 2nd June 2010 in Tallinn by the BiH Deputy Minister of Finance and Treasury, Fuad Kasumovic, and the Manager of the Department for Taxation Policy in the Estonian Finance Ministry, Lemmi Oro. 

The harmonized agreement on avoiding double taxation and prevention of fiscal fraud regarding income tax between BiH and Estonia was initialled on 2nd June 2010 in Tallinn by the BiH Deputy Minister of Finance and Treasury, Fuad Kasumovic, and the Manager of the Department for Taxation Policy in the Estonian Finance Ministry, Lemmi Oro.

It was concluded on this occasion that there is a need to work on increasing the exchange of goods and expanding cooperation between the two countries and that the agreement will help companies and business people to be more competitive in their activities.

According to Mr. Kasumovic, the Ministry of Finance and Treasury is investing efforts for establishing framework for equal legal treatment of business people. He also invited the investors to participate more actively in the economies of the two States.
